During a certain time in the 70′s the work “Amazone” by Carl Burckhardt (1878-1923) stood on the theatre place. Around 1980 it was brought back to its original location at the Schifflaende. It is the last work Burckhardts, which he could not terminate due to his early death. The figure was finished after an unfinished model by Burckhardt.
